TriYoga Weekend in Zurich, Switzerland with Yogini Kaliji, July 2024

After TriYoga programs in Germany and Austria, and a visit to England, Yogini Kaliji concluded her summer tour in Europe with a weekend program in Zürich, Switzerland, July 5–7. This visit celebrated 20 years of TY in Switzerland!

At the opening of the program, Kaliji had just spoken about "the magical flow that surrounds TriYoga" when a gifted balloon was magically blown toward and wrapped around Kaliji, with the rainbow just above her head!

Kaliji taught five, three-hour TriYoga sessions: Friday evening, and morning and afternoon on Saturday and Sunday.

Kaliji answered questions at the start of each afternoon session.

On Friday evening and Sunday afternoon, Yoga Nidra and Prana Vidya were even more special when accompanied by the magical singing of Amit.

Amit and team prepared fantastic vegan meals for the program on Saturday and Sunday. This was a wonderful way to bring the group together, and helped foster a close, family feeling.

Kaliji was presented with a vegan cake in celebration of twenty years of TriYoga in Switzerland!

In a wonderful flow, this celebratory visit to Zürich also coincided with the birthday of TriYoga teacher Irene from Appenzell. Irene has taught and inspired many TY teachers and students, and was the founder of the TY community in Appenzell.

Amit performed an incredible Dhrupad concert on Saturday evening. He was joined by Shrirang on tabla, Ishtar on tamboura, and his student Kevin on vocals and tamboura.

Kushika is a TriYoga teacher trainer and coordinator of TYC Bad Tölz, Germany.

Dagmar is the coordinator of TriYoga Community Cairns, Australia, and a TY teacher trainer and member of the TY Anatomy team.

Eva-Maria and Ishtar offered German interpretation.

Ishtar and Damaris were coordinators for the Zürich program with Kaliji. They are also the coordinators and teachers for the TY Switzerland teacher training program.

Amit and Ishtar invited Kaliji and the team to their home for dinner on Sunday evening.

Amit’s music room has a picture of Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji, the great Nada Yogi. Amit met Sri Swamiji in Switzerland years prior, and was presented with Sri Swamiji’s book.

Everyone enjoyed the fantastic Indian meal, including fresh, hot pooris!
