John and Stef continued their travels with a visit to Kiev, Ukraine from May 7 through May 23. The first part of their trip, organized by teachers Katerina and Priya, featured a 54-hour Basics teacher training, weekend workshops and a weekend teaching trip to the Black Sea city of Odessa. The trip concluded with a 4-day Level 2 teacher training organized by teacher Anna Logvinova.
Participants called it the “All-Ukraine” training as there were students from the far north, south, east and west.
One student even came from Saratov, Russia to participate!
The first weekend included 12 hours of workshops including all-levels flows and partner stretch.
The Brovary TriYoga Center (just outside of Kiev) hosted John and Stef for an evening class.
The weekend trip to Odessa was a great experience! Local teachers Olga and Priya were excited to bring John and Stef to their town and their beautiful city, and they organized a great program including many students new to TriYoga.
Olga arranged for a delightful evening swim and meal on the shore of the Black Sea.
Kateryna (right) and Priya (center) did a wonderful job with hosting and organizing. They also shared the translation duties!
After 2 weeks of Basics and Level 1, teachers joined together for a 4-day Level 2 technique training organized by Anna.
Teachers from Ukraine and Moscow enjoyed the chance to experience the water flow.
