Eva-Maria returned to Japan April 27–May 21 to share TriYoga throughout Japan.
First, she represented TriYoga at the the Yoga Peace Conference in Hiroshima. This is the second time she has been invited to this annual event, which took place this year on the island Miyajima, famous for its forests and temples.
After Hiroshima Eva-Maria returned to Kyoto for special classes and started the fourth Basics Teacher Training: this year with 19 interns. Yoko, the head of Tamisa studio arranged that teachers from previous trainings assisted in the classes; TY teachers Maaya and Toshi were the interpreters.
The highlight of the teacher training was spending meeting Kaliji on Skype. Each student introduced him or herself, and Kaliji gave time for them to ask questions. They were delighted by her insightful answers and by a mudra flow.
After her stay in Kyoto, Eva-Maria traveled to Tokyo giving three workshops at Gllow Studio. Kruki, the owner, and Tomoko, the general manager, were happy to meet TriYoga through Eva-Maria. In attendance was Kaoru (in the red-sleeved TriYoga shirt). She had met Eva-Maria many years ago in Mary Kemper’s home in Cincinnati, USA during a program with Kaliji.
Eva-Maria also enjoyed a tour of vegan delicacies from throughout Japan.
The teacher training continues in July with Santoshi, and concludes with Eva-Maria’s return in October.
