May 9-17 senior-level teacher Eva-Maria from Berlin finished the first TriYoga Teacher Training at Tamisa yoga studio in Kyoto, Japan. The first nine TriYoga teachers in Japan were successfully certified at the end of their 200-hour Basics Teacher Training, offered over three sessions (starting with Eva-Maria last October, continuing with the D’s in January, and completing this May).
It was a very pleasant and smooth stay, with a lot of knowledge and laughing. The students made a beautiful card for Eva-Maria, thanking her. They also gave a very precious hand fan that is considered as a symbol for a new start.
The highlight again was Skyping with Kaliji that happened during the new moon in the USA, and at the beginning of the new moon in Japan! Toshi, who translated one regular class this session and translated for the D’s visit, joined for the Skype date.
Maaya and Mariko were excellent translators for the TT and Yoga Smile conference. Maaya did an excellent job translating the Basics Manual. Kyoko from Boston started this with translating the postures. Mariko and Kaoru (Tokyo) dedicated their time to proof the translations. To all a big “thank you!”
