Santoshi was at TYC Ballarat (Australia) Oct 3–12 for Basics and Level 1 certifications and all-levels classes and workshops.
TYC Director Pene provided excellent teacher trainings for these two groups. All benefited from the depth of Pene’s long teaching experience.
Level 1 teacher Judi attended for continuing education, and to share the flow with her daughter, newly certified Basics and Level 1 teacher Alyssa.
At the end of the training, Kaliji met with the interns via Skype and announced their certification. They were happy and surprised!
Pene also offered daily lunches to the group, and invited all into her home to share vegan meals. Two of her recipes are below.
While in Ballarat, Santoshi was invited to visit the Wala Animal Sanctuary, a privately-run rescue home for domestic and wild animals. The residents include over 150 animals in need of rescue or rehabilitation, including dogs, cats, exotic birds, rabbits, geese, ducks, sheep, goats, cows, pigs, chickens, a turkey (who is best friends with a rooster), a peacock, wallabies and joeys (baby kangaroos).
