About
Gina began TriYoga in 1987. She first certified to teach in 1993 and began teaching at the TriYoga Center and other venues in Santa Cruz, California. Later, as a senior-level teacher she led teacher-training programs. She adopted a vegan whole-food plant-based diet at the age of 27, maintaining it for over thirty years.
Gina is a registered nurse with a BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) degree. She also obtained a certificate in plant-based nutrition in 2015 after completing studies provided by Cornell University. She has worked in the healthcare system, teaching therapeutic TriYoga to patients with chronic disease and also those recovering from substance abuse. She recognizes that combining TriYoga with the vegan whole food diet has a synergistic effect in promoting health, and can reverse chronic disease.
Mother of three adult children, Gina now has the opportunity to travel and share TriYoga. She made her first trip to China in 2013 and has offered teacher trainings and workshops in Beijing, Shenzhen, Guangzhou and Kunming. She offers TriYoga, including Plant Based Nutrition, Prenatal and Partner Stretch workshops.
Gina's passion is to teach TriYoga, including TriYoga lifestyle based on the Ahimsa Trinity principles of the garden/vegan diet for human health, ecology and animal welfare. Gina says, “Kaliji gives a priceless gift to all those blessed to discover and practice TriYoga. It is my privilege and honor to share its profound benefits with others.”
