After departing India at the completion of the TriYoga India Retreat, John and Santoshi returned to Moscow October 6–16 to continue the ongoing series of teacher trainings at Prana Yoga Studio. This training picked up where the previous ended, continuing with Basics Series 3–5 and Level 1 Series 1 and 2. The weekend featured four open workshops of all levels flows and partner stretch.
A diverse group attended this session, including teachers from the previous training, students new to TrYoga, and others who have been practicing since Kaliji first came to Russia more than 20 years ago.
Coordinator, organizer, and TriYoga Teacher Uliana (in white) continues to be a great representative for TriYoga in the Moscow yoga community, and is reaching many students through her TriYoga classes. She recently presented TriYoga at the Nasha Yoga Conference in Moscow.
Students attended from Moscow and many places in Russia, from Ukraine, and from Latvia. Pictured below is Veronika who travelled from Riga, Latvia to join. This was her second visit to a teacher training with John and Santoshi, and this time she brought a friend!
Scenes from the teacher training and weekend workshops:
Santoshi had a special assistant to help explain the inherent wisdom and safety in TriYoga methods.
Uliana has attended workshops and trainings with Kaliji in Moscow, Europe and the US. She has been instrumental in organizing the last two Moscow teacher trainings and Yogini Kaliji’s Moscow programs earlier this year, and is organizing Kaliji’s visit next May.
Translation was provided by a trinity of flow-ers: TriYoga Teachers Maxim, Julia and Irina (not pictured) all offered their time and skill.
