After departing Australia, John and Santoshi returned to Europe and then divided—Santoshi to Kiev, and John to Barnaul in the Siberia region of Russia. There has been TriYoga in Barnaul for over 20 years, and since 2009 John and Santoshi have made seven trips there to conduct teacher training from Basics to Level 2. There is a thriving TriYoga community in Barnaul, and a dedicated and active teacher training group. This year, John continued with the Level 2 teacher trainings started last year by Santoshi.
The training met every day for eight days, covering the technique of all five Level 2 series.

John and Santoshi have a special place in their hearts for Barnaul. Most of their trips have been in late winter or early spring, so a favorite after-class walk is to the River Ob to check if it is still frozen. John made one trip and was happy to report: Flowing!
The teacher training group celebrated with a delicious vegan cake. All are looking forward to the next meeting.
