Kaliji performs aarti with Swami Chidanand Saraswati (to Kaliji’s right), pontiff of Parmarth Niketan, the largest ashram in Rishikesh. It is on the banks of the Ganga river (parmarth.com)
Aarti is a beautiful evening ceremony in which deepas (oil lamps) are offered to the divine.

The TriYoga Yatra visited the town of Rudraprayag, named after Lord Shiva (Rudra).
Altitude – 610 meters = 2,000 feet
Language – Garhwali, Hindi & English
The entire region is blessed with immense natural beauty, places of
religious importance, lakes and glaciers.
The main attraction of Rudraprayag is the confluence of Mandakini and Alakananda rivers. This confluence has a great religious significance and thousands of pilgrims come here to take a sacred dip. The river with the bridge over it, is Mandakini.
The river in front is Alakananda.
The temple of Goddess Jagadamba and Lord Shiva are also important places.

Haridwar
Yatra group waits to put baskets of flowers into the Ganga river during Haridwar aarti ceremony.
Haridwar (or Hardwar) also known as ‘the Gateway to the Gods’ is one of the seven holiest places according to Hindu mythology.
Every evening, the whole town gathers and participates in sunset aarti.
Prior to aarti, the TY group was visited by a group of singers whose teacher has created an innovative style of singing Sanskrit slokas in harmony.
Kaliji releases aarti basket with flowers and flame into the Ganga.
Kaliji and the TY group were invited for dinner to the home of Krishna, a dear devotee and friend of Kaliji in Rishikesh.
It was a wonderful feast, only a fraction of which is shown.
With Krishna’s father, Atma Ram, who presented Kaliji with beautiful garlands and arrangements of flowers.

7 TY teachers and students arrived from China this day. They will spend the week in Mysore with Kaliji and Yatra group.

Sat. Dec.13
Datta Jayanti was celebrated with Sri Ganapati Sachchidananda Swamiji at Datta Peetham. The first “Gna Naa Bha Yoga Conference” was held during the celebrations. For the conclusion of the conference, Kaliji spoke on the subject “Utility of Yoga in Personal Management” while Sri Swamiji performed Sri Chakra Puja in Universal Prayer Hall.
Kaliji spoke on yoga for an hour.
In addition to Sat. Dec. 20 in Bangalore (see above fliers), Kaliji will give 7 days of TY programs beginning 12/16, including an all-state press conference.
Kaliji will be chief guest at the Sri Rajarajeshwari Temple in Bangalore.
All programs are organized by Dr. K.R.Raghavendra Pai, scholar of sanskrit and yoga. Each time Kaliji goes to India, Dr. Pai arranges TriYoga programs for Kaliji in various cities across Karnataka state.
