In the past 2 days that Kaliji has been in Wiltshire, two more crop circle formations have appeared in the area.
Researchers say that this is very early in the season to have so many formations appear, and such spectacular ones.
Today Kaliji went to visit the 2 newest circles, and was introduced to circle researcher Gary King, who guided the tour.
On 7/7/07, Gary and two friends waited on a Wiltshire hillside with infrared cameras and witnessed a 1000 foot formation
appear. They saw a flash of white light across the sky, and 7 minutes later the formation was in the field in front of them.

The most recent formation, which appeared on June 10, is in an area called the West Kennett Long Barrow.
The West Kennet Long Barrow is one of the many prehistoric monuments that are part of the Avebury complex
of Neolithic sites. It is one of the most impressive and well-preserved burial chambers in Britain
as well as being one of the most visited.
The stones go as far into the ground as they extend above it.
Also in this area is Silbury Hill, the tallest prehistoric man-made mound in Europe and one of the world’s largest.
On a base covering over 5 acres, it is 130 feet high. Archaeologists calculate that Silbury Hill was built about 4600 years ago
and that it took 18 million man-hours to dump and shape 8.75 million cubic feet of earth on top of a natural hill.
