//Completion of 200-hour Teacher Training in China

The 200 Hour Basics TriYoga Teacher Training in China completed on September 11, with the certification of 19 teachers! The training covered technique, practicum, and teaching methodology for all Daily 10 Series of Basics, plus prāṇa vidyā, mudrā, physical and subtle anatomy, nada yoga, and sanskrit. The discipline and dedication of the students was remarkable as they flowed through the training, 9 hours a day for nearly a month! Most of these teachers will also continue with John and Stephanie for Levels 1, 2, and 3 over the next few months.

The end of training celebration began on the last night at the Luofu Mountain Retreat center, where students have been living during the training. The TriYoga group became a real family during the training, and the retreat center staff also connected with the TriYoga spirit. In honor of the students, the staff organized a party for all to attend and presented all of the new teachers with flowers.

Festivities included food, music, karoke, and a LOT of dancing!

Lei Jun electrified the group with his singing and acrobatic dancing.

Xixi, Momokoo, and Joye presented an impromptu dance routine to the delight of everyone.

LinDa demonstrated a beautiful and moving traditional Korean dance.

Each student also took a minute with the microphone to share their experiences from the training.

Before boarding the bus for Shenzhen the next morning, the happy group posed for a picture in front of White Lotus Lake and Luofu Mountain.

After arriving at UYoga in Shenzhen, the group was greeted with a warm reception featuring beautiful fruit and a vegetarian meal.

Each teacher received their certificate, a TriYoga t-shirt, and a TriYoga lineage card. Pictured here is new teacher Zhang Zhang (Coco).

TriYoga teacher Judy Lin from Taiwan will attend the entire Basics-L3 training in China with John and Stephanie. Judy hosted John and Stephanie in Taiwan for six weeks at the end of 2009, when she organized the first TriYoga teacher training in that country.

John and Stephanie were very surprised when the students generously presented them with a very nice backpack to aid in their TriYoga travels!
