After leaving Israel, John began the first Basics Teacher Training in England, held in village of Charlbury, Oxfordshire, in the heart of the beautiful Cotswolds region. Local yoga teacher and TriYoga’s friend James Reeves organized the training, with five of his students and his partner Gabrielle attending the first 40-hour, 5-day session.
This program was the first of a complete 200-hour teacher training. Students focused on learning and teaching a single Basics series, while also flowing through additional Basics series. James is arranging times for the interns to meet and practice between trainings, and is also offering them opportunities to sub his classes.

The training was held in the beautiful home of one of James’ students, who was away for the week and generously offered her home for the training and any of the students who wished to stay there. The amazing three-storey building is made of yellow Cotswold stone and located in the center of Charlbury.
John found a lovely evening to enjoy the Oxfordshire countryside. England is criss-crossed with public right-of-way footpaths which cross over open fields, through pastures, along hedges, and over streams.
