Bangalore ~ January 14 and 15
Kaliji, accompanied by Nandini, Ganga and Sri Kant, went to the ashrama in Bangalore to be with Sri Swamiji and celebrate the auspicious Makara Sankranti. This marks the Indian new year.
It is written that Makara Sankranti marks the movement of the sun northward. The days get longer after Makara Sankranti.
Additionally, Bala Swamiji’s birthday continued to be celebrated in Bangalore.
On the afternoon of January 15th, the group traveled to Vivekenanda Kendra to visit with the radiant Dr. Sarasvati Mohan.
