Yogini Kaliji’s summer Europe tour began August 8–14 with the annual TriYoga retreat at Yoga Vidya in Bad Meinberg, Germany, organized by TriYoga senior teacher Roselyne. The Bad Meinberg retreat is a unique opportunity to immerse into sadhana with Yogini Kaliji—the daily schedule includes 7 hours per day of sessions with Kaliji, plus 90 minutes of chanting in the evening. Year after year students return to the retreat to reconnect with TriYoga family and enjoy the wonderful group energy.
In addition to all-levels TriYoga Flows and Prana Vidya, sessions included classes in TriYoga Therapeutics, Mudra, and Q&A Jnana Flow.
A second asana room was used for a break-out Level 3/4 classes, taught by John and Santoshi.
Nada Yoga was a special feature of the retreat this year. Joining Yogini Kaliji and Mercury Max was tabla virtuoso Prasann from Goa, India. Prasann’s incredible rhythm and exhilarating style made each chanting session especially memorable.

Prasann is Yogini Kaliji’s tabla teacher, and he also teaches tabla, dholak, and bells to many other TriYogis including (pictured here) John, Eva-Maria and Ekaterina.
Prasann also played tabla throughout many of the flow sessions, providing a perfectly rhythmic and meditative accompaniment. Mercury Max joined to chant mantra during yoga nidra.

Students were assisted throughout the retreat by senior teachers John and Santoshi, who accompanied Yogini Kaliji from the United States. Nadine and Antje (not pictured) also assisted.
Chinese TriYoga teacher Kiki and Russian teacher Natalya both attended the Bad Meinberg retreat for the first time. Kiki is also Yogini Kaliji’s translator in China, and Natalia translates in Siberia.
