Kaliji taught programs at the Chicago Yoga Center the weekend of March 26-28.
Local TriYoga Teacher, Maretta, had the inspiration for Kaliji to offer a weekend program in Chicago. She contacted the Chicago Yoga Center founder/director Suddha Weixler to arrange the program.
Suddha graciously hosted the event.
The room was filled to capacity with TY teachers and those new to TriYoga. This group traveled from Iowa for the program (from left): Dr. Chirantan Ghosh, Janel, Andrea, Satyam and Narayani.
TY teachers who attended (from left): Janel (Cedar Rapids), Satyam (Cedar Rapids), Padma Sri (Phillis) (Davenport, IA), Narayani (Cedar Rapids), Maretta (Chicago), Sharla (Chicago). Maretta had the inspiration to bring Kaliji to Chicago.
Phyllis and Charlie came from Davenport, IA to the program. During the weekend, Phyllis received her spiritual name from Kaliji ~ Padmasri. In an auspicious flow, she received the name on her birthday.
TY teacher Tejas and her husband Brad came from Cedar Rapids
